Sniper shots from Exospeed's FWD Invasion

Wil and Randy from Exospeed invited me their event, it was also sponsored by a company I have "ties" with. So I went out to capture some footage. I'll admit, we rolled out there on Sunday, which was test and tune and qualifying. I bumped into couple people, one of them being Guillermo from GPRAuto, he had his camera in hand also. I wanted to knock it out of his hand, but that wouldn't have been nice...

This was the Exospeed booth where racers checked in. Those Exospeed wheels were calling my name, too bad my car will never be done...FML.

We walked around for a bit to scout the event, here we are talking to Wil. Wil is very passionate about this industry, everytime we talk he gets me all fired up about finishing my car and taking it out. He also has a greater understanding of the industry that most have yet to grasp. This event was the first step in Exospeed's effort in re-birthing west coast racing. One of these days I'll trick him into sitting down in front of the camera for an in depth interview.

With the old lady sleep in the car, I began to gather some shots.

Here I am pissed off because the track officials were giving me the runaround. Paid for two tickets to get in, then couldn't get a damn media pass for no apparent reason. At this point I had been tethered to the gate for over 45 minutes waiting for somebody to give Randy or Wil my pass, both of them were the two most busy people at the event. I still made the best of it, eventually leaving the lanes and going to shoot some bootie...see video for said "bootie"...
Overall it was still a fun day. Monday everything came alive and things really cracked off. If they do it again, don't just sit back and wait for the photos or videos, go out and support!

Andy Hope updated his CRX

Basically he's going to be looking good while he's kicking ass at the track... I really dig the new look.

My boy Nit from DUDE Blvd shot my homie Mikey's lady Destiny Papalia. The shots are for Nit's upcoming art show in S.D., so what better to shoot than a former Playboy Bunny? Enjoy!

Exospeed's LA Invasion FWD Shootouts by AutoLife TV

AutoLife TV was personally invited to attend Exospeed Racing's LA Invasion FWD Shootouts. Wil and Randy worked hard putting together this event. They teamed up with numerous sponsors. The biggest supporter was Skunk2 Racing. This marks the first major step in Exospeed Racing's attempt to rebuild the west coast sport compact drag racing scene. When the next event rolls around, don't sit back and wait for the videos, go out and experience it for yourself!

El Freddy... World's Fastest 7 Second RWD K-Series

My boys out in Philly at Import DPS played a big roll in this car...7 second quarter miles with Honda power? I remember not to long ago being at the "V8 track" checking out the street races and being laughed at for building a Honda... who's laughing now? Understand, this memory is actually from the late 90's, HAHA! Props to Julian and the Nyce1's homies for providing the video.

WekFest LA 2011 lulz...MURDOK shots

Frank, Ejay and me... DJ Murdok using his sniper skills. Thanks for waiting until I was not picking my nose, I appreciate that.

This is what I look like when I'm shooting?! One must be focused...

On a serious note, I'll be cutting a WekFest LA video very soon. Be on the lookout. In the mean time, enjoy the 50 or so "quality" videos that popped up the day after the event...

Annual Eibach Meet 2011 "Rain Or Shine"

This year was the first year the meet didn't fall on one of the hottest days of the year. Oddly enough 2011 marked the first year we got rain. But that didn't stop the enthusiasts. The 2011 Annual Eibach Meet was packed to the point that is was a bit tough to walk around at times. I'd have to say it was a great event. Who else but AutoLife TV would be on the scene documenting this epic meeting of Honda/Acura enthusiasts? We thank our supporters and even high-five the non-supporters as the job always gets done. A bit earlier than the 2010 video coverage...enjoy!

Aaron Bonk on Will's CarCast

Long time Honda enthusiast and highly experienced sport compact industry veteran, Aaron Bonk, was recently on Will's CarCast. I've heard a lot about Will's CarCast over the past few months but had not actually listened. When I heard my pal was going to be on I had no choice but to give it a listen. After listening I was pissed I had not been previously listening. Aaron's interview was very entertaining, I'd tell you about it, but it's best you listen for yourself. Keep up the good work Will, I dig what you're doing!
