S.O.S. Day: Thailand

Our good friend over at Streetmetal continues to wow us over here in the states with more coverage of the car scene in Thailand. I must say, it is pretty cool to see how the lifestyle varies in different regions of the world, yet how similar we all are. These shots are from S.O.S. Day (Slammed of Siam Day). If you're wondering what "Siam" means, Thailand is formally known as Siam, and Thailand or Siam is a country located at the centre of the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia. We'll finish the Thailand history lesson some other time... The event was originally started by the "Crispy Clean Crew", some of you have probably seem some of their videos on the internet. The gathering was organized by the head of this team "Nut Crispy Clean", we're not sure if it the name get's lost in translation, whatever the case it is still a cool name. This time there were a lot of "stanced" vehicles that came to hang out. The cool thing is that everybody comes with same passion, cars!

Hello Mr. Walker.

Some of you might recognize this vehicle from D-Sport Magazine, that's is because it is. They've been documenting the build for a fair amount of time now as Mr. Walker experienced a few set backs with during build. The car is up and running and I made it pretty clear I wanted a ride the last time we kicked it. Randomly my phone rang after work, it was Jeren and he happened to be on the his way over to the crib. I could hear him pulling up so I went outside with the camera to get a shot of it. Jeren pulls up "B, come go to the gas station with me real quick!" I hopped in without question, knowing I was about to experience some butt puckering boost! We cruised to the gas station nice and mellow, so we didn't "blow up the spot". As he pulled into the gas station the heads just started turning! Older women, some teenagers and a dude with a brand new FRS all instantly reacted, nearly breaking their necks, "sick car bro", the teenagers yelled. The dude with the FRS had a million and one questions too. I proceeded to get out the car like I didn't see anything and popped off a few shots. Here you go...

After a the tank was filled up, we headed out. All I can say is "DAYYYUUUUMMMMM!" The thing freak'n moves! We'll work on getting some video the next time we see Mr. Walker.

ALTV Apparel Shoot

We got together with photographer Ron Alan Cruz and model Briana Olguin for a little photoshoot since we got female tank-tops done for the ladies. Figured since it was summer the ladies would want an option to actually look like a girl  while being an enthusiast's rather than having to wear a men's shirt. Plus, these tanks give the guys a chance to see some skin. There are limited quantities so make it easy on us and just cop one stuff.

Oh what happened during the shoot you ask? Well, Ron Alan handled the photography, Briana did what she does, being cute. To sweet'n the deal we had Joe "Backyard" Schnieder bring out his Civic Coupe just to make sure everybody the shoot was ALTV affiliated. Ron killed it while Joe and I stood around drinking a 40oz of Old English as I captured a little video and magically these awesome shot's and a behind the scenes video happened... I gotta say, the end result made me really appreciate the people that I've had the blessing of working with.
