Picture me roll'n!

Felt like grabbing a few shots of Backyard Joe's Civic Hatchback. OC, Cali style...not giving a f*@k, doing what we want, bumping our music, enjoying the sun...you get the picture!

WEKFEST LA 2012

WekFest LA is this weekend! Don't sleep on this event. Come out and join AutoLife TV and the WekFest family for one of the best SoCal events of the year. Stop by and say hi, maybe we'll even have an "AutoLife TV" sticker for you to walk away with. WekFest is family to AutoLife TV, if you dig through some of our old videos you'll notice that we were one of the first to cover the event years ago...and by "cover" we mean NOT simply going out and shooting a damn montage, lol...smh... If you support AutoLife, come out and support WekFest. See ya there!

AutoLifeTV Archive: FF-Greg and Friends (2006)

This was shot before the DSLR craze and covering events to "get your name out there". I captured this footage hanging out of Ty's CRX with a $5000 Canon camcorder, "because it was fun". As stated in the video description, I would just shoot stuff, no plans of really making a "viral video" or anything like that... I simply felt what we were doing should be documented... Standard definition footage was even still "okay" to use.

...no sliders, cranes, steadi-cams, dslr... NONE of that! Just a shooter ready to shot.

Dude, what's up with the blog?

No, all of your dreams and wishes have not come true, I haven't caved and quit. I know it has been a while since I updated the blog, but I think we are all aware that sometimes the work load gets heavy and real life can kick in. As many of you know I (Brandon) got engaged just over a year ago, well, what usually follows is a ton of wedding planning, a wedding, and a honeymoon... and that is exactly what I've been up to. Sitting up late at night after work, deciding on colors, linens, who to rent chiavari chairs from along with the dreaded guest list. The guest list is probably the biggest pain, as you know you are not going to be able to invite EVERYBODY you know/want. After deciding on the number of people you can have/afford a couple is then faced with having to make cuts, taking into account who will be most offended or upset, who has been loyal or true over the years, who has had your back etc. All kinds of issues and situations come up when making the cuts. Many times I personally just wanted to take off to Vegas and not invite ANYBODY, save our money and keep it moving. The truth of the matter is that the wedding day is not about the groom, so my idea was tossed and the 250 guest list and seating chart was created, mostly filled by my other half (Gaby)... she has a huge family/extended family. I'm not going to bore you all with the details, drama and messed up stuff that happened when we got back from our honeymoon in Aruba (shady "friends"), I just want to update and let everybody know AutoLifeTV is not dead...

I'm looking forward to being at a few upcoming events. The Annual Eibach Meet in Irwindale and WekFest LA will be a blast. I actually have registered spots this year. Should be a great time!
