Today I got word from my boy Rick Amaro over at Import DPS that one of their cars broke a record over the weekend. In Part 3 of the of the Skunk2 East Coast trip there was a shot of Dr. Charles and Dave looking at the motor from this little beast as it laid on the ground... well, clearly it's alive and kicking, and running SUPER hard. The thing laid down a 7.05 and a 7.06 with 102 degree track temps, the guys are expecting 6 second passes out of it VERY soon. If you are wondering, it's owned b

NWP member LSD posted some footage of my good friend Greg Morgan (aka FF-Greg) at California Speedway. For those that don't know Greg owned an rad DA back in the day, he got into biking recently and looks to be taking it pretty serious, I however KNOW he still has the car bug lurking...
Pic stolen from his Honda Tuning feature...

The Jacksons... (OG Jackson racing now KraftWerks USA). Me drinking some "lemon drank" at California Speedway, during the Super Street FF Super Lap Battle.Meeting of the minds, San Fransisco. Look at my stance, hoodie under the Peacoat, beanie barely on my head ("hipster style"), and camera in hand, such a documentary film maker, LOL!

"Brotha B": EJ1 Civic Coupe, at it's first show, back in 2000 I think. Before she was boosted and later stolen during her resurrection. Never found a piece of this car... F thieves, cowards.
The "Chapter1" line up... Extreme AutoFest 2000 I'll never forget these times.

When you're shooting things like this sometimes you don't realize how lucky you are until you get back and start looking at the footage. Here is Part 2 of the Skunk2 East Coast trip. Due to my boy from Nyce1's having to take care of some personal stuff I decided to put mine up before his part two... Congrats on the new addition brotha!

This morning I went out to the car to head to work to find an envelope on my window with my name on it. Because I was running late I just grabbed it, planning to open it later. This is what was in the envelope...Mr. Thumb knows where I live... kinda cool, but kinda freak'ed me out especially after I thought I knew who Mr. Thumb was.

Some things just have to stay a dream... I think it's time to get rid of my babies, things are just not working out. Taking offers on both of them, both are clean titles. Both cars need front passenger side wheel bearings...
For Sale: 89 Civic Wagovan RT4wd
The Wagovan had a fresh SOHC ZC, car is complete however it needs two new shims for the transfer case, and the headliner re-installed.
Next is my 1990 Civic Si:
This car was my baby... almost finished it, but it just seems to not happen.
I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org

Skunk2 Street Team homie Arn Reyes brought his GNARLY whip by the facility to visit. I took the opportunity to capture it on tape in the warehouse of Skunk2... damn near shut the place down in order to use the warehouse, lol.
All the cool video guys us camera "sliders"... seems like that and a 5d makes everybody a video maker... BLAH!!White on gold under the lights looks nuts!
Hydrogen powered K... you do the damn thing Arn!
Another slider shot... to appease the critics.
Thanks for coming to visit Arn, I look forward to seeing you again SOON, congrats on the baby homie and I'm excited about how the footage came out.

So after the gnarly trip to the East Coast with Dave, and Dr. Charles I took some time to go hang with some friends and relax, the "old lady" had been stuck in the crib due to a pinata accident slitting her lip in half, literally (I promised not to post those pics). I also needed to starve myself after Dave made me eat until I almost puked and soiled my pants at the same time.
Getting to the actual camp spot took 40 minutes of off-road action in the CR-V...
Hiking down to the river, for out "lazy" float back to camp. If you have ever swam in a river like the Kern you already know the current is strong.
A quick picture before near death experiences... the "old lady" was smart and stayed at camp.
FYI, black people do swim. Technically I'm native american (choctaw indian), but I still count. I should have never tried to so the swim in those shoes though...
The homies got together to take a pic while the girls talked about how much we smelled and snored all night.

I was lucky enough to visit the East Coast for work a few weeks ago. Video will be up soon, but here are some pics for the time being. If I was to post everything I did or saw and all the shops we went to it would take FOREVER... remember this is just a taste, and vids will be out soon.
Aki, Julian or NyCE 1's, and I at HiBoost in Jersey City, these cats keep it real HOOD! Shop had some CRAZY cars. I don't think Aki turns down a race, EVER!Shot some of the whips and the shop
Me and Dr. Charles doing what we do... not too sure what that is. Enny got the shot, thanks PIMP!!!
Me, blabbing about how the Westside does it...
Caught a NyCE 1's race on the TV, they had a DVD spinning, I think drag racing was the only type of TV any of these dudes watched. No "Jersey Shore", not "Weeds", JUST DRAG RACING!
Got a chance to go to ATCO raceway for the Pan-Am drag races. Puerto Rico vs. US. If you have never been to ATCO, it CRACKS OFF! And, now I officially know where all the Toyota Starlets went, LOL!
Think about this car before you junk the trashed one on your front yard.
My mom, had one of these... not NEARLY as cool or powerful, hers just backfired a lot.
This thing ran hard and was super clean.
Yet another super clean old school racer
I also got a chance to go the New Jersey Motorpark, place was SICK! We were there to see the Compass 360R boys lay down the law in the championship series. I can't believe people don't keep up with these guys or the series.
Be sure to peep the Compass 360R video a few entries down...
Yep, it's official! Skunk2's Street Team has received it's own blog! Skunk2 may not say it but I have a feeling this blog will not simply highlight the Street Team and their awesome cars but also stir up the "game" a little. Be sure to keep an eye on it!
