The Hatch Lives!
We don't only make videos for the automotive community, we also participate in the "scene", hence the name "AutoLife". I've owned a bunch of Hondas over the years, but because of the history and memories attached to this car, it has stuck with me for over a decade. After a long period of being down she is almost ready to see some more track time and commuting. I don't know how long we'll be able to run this prototype version of the KraftWerks supercharger kit, but we are going to enjoy it while we have it. Thanks KraftWerks!

Embrace "Ricers"
I personally really don't like the term "ricers", much like I don't like the use of the "n" word or any of its variations. Unfortunately the process of stopping it from being used it not efficient enough to impact the spreading of such a term. What ever the case, this was a funny picture of a couple of our buddies out in Texas. These guys really love cars (looks like they love each other in this pic, lulz). Notice Mike's shirt?

WekFest TX, here I come!
Thankfully AutoLife TV has some loyal supporters and a few buddies that still want to get stuff out of us, otherwise this trip would not be happening. It is going to be a really busy weekend, the camera will be rolling the entire weekend. From my understanding I'm going to have to sleep in an odd place the first night, great... and I'll probably be woken up in the middle of the night a few times by fire alarms (even better). The goal is to come back with a car/owner feature and WekFest TX coverage. One thing that I'm dreading is the fact that I have to bring a TON of equipment with me, hopefully nothing comes up missing during the trip. On our last plane ride we landed in LAX missing an iPad...smh...die thieves.
It's going to be fun seeing how Texas gets down on their turf, hopefully I can understand their slang terms and vice versa. I also hope they don't take the my "Cali swag" as rude or insulting, I've heard that I always look mad, "serious black"... anyway like the song says "If you see em' point em out", don't be afraid to wave or say a little something into the camera if you see AutoLife lurking around with the camera.

Always knew I'd get rich!
Thanks to an unknown dead relative, I'm officially ball'n! Should I collect in big bills or small bills?
"Dear (insert my last name),
"Dear (insert my last name),
I would like to seek your help in a business proposal , which although is sensitive by nature which is not
what i should discuss with someone i don’t know and not met using a medium such as this but i do not
have a choice .
I am Mr. Prinz Gaitho, I am the client service manager of the Kenyan branch of the bank where late Dr.
Edward (insert my last name) left behind a large sum of money, he died of a cardiac arrest a few years ago leaving
behind a large sum of money with a commercial bank in the Island of Seychelles which is a tax free zone,
a place where plenty of rich people tend to hide away funds not ready to be used or invested. I will not
mention the amount of money which runs into several millions in United States Dollars and the name of
bank presently until we have agreed to deal. I trust you will understand the need for such precautions.
So far, valuable efforts have been made to get to his people but to no avail, as he had no known relatives
he left his next of kin column in his account opening forms blank. Due to this development the bank has
been expecting someone to come forward as a close relative, to claim the funds. otherwise as the
Seychelles national laws would have it, any dormant account for five years will be declared unclaimed
and then paid into the government purse.
To avert this negative development my colleagues and i have decided to look for a reputable person to
act as the next of kin to late Dr. Edward (insert my last name), So that the funds could be processed and released into
any account provided by the person, which is where you come in. We shall make arrangements with a
qualified and a reliable attorney to represent you locally to avoid any inconvenience of you coming down
to claim the funds
All legal documents to aid your claim for this fund and to prove your relationship with the deceased will be
provided by us. Your help will be appreciated with 30% of the total sum which I would disclose in my next
email. Please accept my apologies and keep my confidence and disregard this letter if you do not
appreciate this proposition i have offered you.
I wait anxiously for your response.
Yours Faithfully,
Prinz Gaitho"

Big Mike FINALLY got cover.
Some of you may know about the friendship Big Mike and I have. No, I'm not one of the guys you see crowded around him trying to "be down", no I don't try to hang out with him all the time to create small talk or make sure he remembers I think everything he does in the world is great. Have we kicked it at my crib just watching TV eating and drinking everything my wife (girlfriend at the time) bought at the market, yes. Has Big Mike had my moms grits in the morning after we had a "sleep over", yes. Did I fart in his car when it was that wine color, while it was chillen at the shop in SD, yes. Anyway that's enough personal information for one day... we're just showing a FRIEND some support, go get the issue.
Oh, Big Mike, didn't I tell you not to sit on my car like that? Get your ass down! HARD HEADED! ;) One more thing, I've got the waffle maker figured out, as soon as we have a free weekend it's time for breakfast at my spot.

New Product from the Rywire camp!
New Product from the Rywire camp! S2000 CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER KIT. They'll probably never see this post, but it's okay AutoLife TV supports what they do. Not because we want to get something out of them, just because we've watched the brand start from scratch. Shit, this blog has had a link to the Rywire site since the blog began! Ever watch some of the REALLY old videos we did at Eibach when we were coming out with 30min episodes, who was in those videos? Now ask us how many times we've asked for something back?

Something to mash to...
We've said it before, an important part of living an "AutoLife" is the music you ride to. It was hot out today, so it only made sense to hit the streets, wash the whip, and go for an afternoon cruise. "Fish bowling" (no tint on the windows, for the new guys...) with the windows down, this "Shoolboy Q" track was on loop, the chorus should fill in any blanks. You know you did something right when people raise a thumb up and give you the nod when you're in your ride. Today I had a guy ask me if the wagon was good for doing the horizontal mambo in... then, "damn you NEVER see them like this, car is SICK man!" Seemed like the light would never turn green but it made my day. Anyway, enjoy this track folks!

KraftWerks Supercharged '06-'11 Civic Si Ride Along Day
www.kraftwerksusa.com
"In order to give '06-'11 Civic Si owners a better understanding of the capabilities the newly released KraftWerks Supercharger kit offers, KraftWerks and staff offered a very special "Ride Along Day" for enthusiasts and customers to come out, have some pizza and sodas and most importantly feel the power of the new supercharger kit. Something like this doesn't happen often, however after seeing the smiles on the faces of the participants it was clearly worth it."

"YELO"
"YELO", could be taken many different ways. Some may see another car montage, while others my notice its short-film characteristics, enjoying the story within all the images and music.
This time around AutoLife TV's creator got together with Joe of Backyard Concepts/Designs and his yellow Civic Hatchback. Over many beers, Brandon shared his ideas for the video. Some ideas were a bit too tough to pull off within the limits of the production team, while others could be pulled off with ease, often times shocking the two of them that nobody had ever tried it before. AutoLife TV was then introduced to Nicky Nicole, a Playboy Live model, and her friend Lexi, who were both excited about working on the project.
All-in-all the video came out awesome in our opinion and the feedback from the premier proves we have not completely lost our minds.

New video coming! Behind the scenes shots.
Before our newest video drops this coming week, we would like to share some photos from our latest shoot. This time around we had Playboy Live model Nicky and her friend Lexi to provide the "assist" in making the shoot more than we could have ever expected. Our buddy Joe's car has been dying to be captured on video after it was featured in not one, but two magazines and seen on all sorts of blogs. Joe and I stood around over many beers chatting about what we could do with his car that would be different from all the other guys videos. In true AutoLife TV fashion, I think what was accomplished is going to "change some things" in the world of automotive "filmers" (and I use the term "filmers" with TONS of sarcasm). Don't get us wrong, many videos have incorporated similar elements to our video, the question is the execution. Enough of my ranting, let these images peak your interest and prepare you for what is to come next week. Thanks for the pics Backyard Joe!
